RxTeach is dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes through 2 very important areas of focus:

  1. Preventative Medicine Education:
    1. Preventing chronic diseases before they happen in our patients through preventative medicine education in the areas of exercise and lifestyle management.
  2. Cancer Care:
    1. Improving outcomes in the sickest patients that we treat, those with cancer. We do this by providing scholarships and grants to students pursuing careers in oncology-related fields who will become leaders in the future.

In line with this mission, we're very happy to announce our first-ever scholarship winners!

Left: Brentsen Wolf, PharmD | Middle: Abigail Schmidt | Right: Anthony Bissey

We offered 2 unique scholarships this year on a competitive basis. The winner of the RxTeach Future Oncology Pharmacist Award was Anthony Bissey - SIUE Pharmacy Class of 2024. The winner of the RxTeach Health & Wellness through Pharmacy Scholarship was Abigail Schmidt - SIUE Pharmacy Class of 2025.

We are extremely proud of these two amazing pharmacy students and their commitment to preventative medicine education and treating cancer patients!

Our goal at RxTeach is to have scholarships like these available to students working in healthcare fields across the country. Reaching that goal requires that we raise as much money as possible! If you'd like to make a donation toward our cause, you can do so by clicking the "Add to Cart" button below. Minimum accepted donation: $1

Every cent will be given to students as merit-based scholarships in cancer research and preventative medicine education!
